Bourns NX Series Thermal Cutoff (TCO) Devices
Bourns NX Series Thermal Cutoff (TCO) Devices are high-current miniature resettable devices that employ a high-rated corrosion-resistant bimetal mechanism for improved endurance in humid environments. These devices support current capabilities from 12A to 20A at 60°C. The NX series TCO devices offer a 1.2mΩ and 3mΩ typical resistance. These devices include overcurrent and overtemperature protection for lithium polymer and prismatic cells. The NX series TCO devices are available with 77°C, 82°C, 85°C, and 90°C trip temperature options, which operate within a ±5°C tolerance. These devices are used for battery protection in handheld and wearable electronics, notebook PCs, tablet PCs, and smartphones.
