XP Power’s IAS/IES series of unregulated, fixed input, and isolated 1 W to 2 W DC/DC converters offer a compact design with high efficiency, 1.5 kV isolation with 3.0 kV optional, short-circuit protection, and high operating temperature. With single (IES01, IES02) and dual (IAS01) outputs, these low-power surface mount converters are suited for instrumentation, data communications, and industrial applications, including test and measurement, factory automation, lighting control, and utility metering.

The IES series enhances manufacturing efficiency through the tape and reel packaging (500 pcs) option and has a moisture sensitivity level (MSL) 1 rating, ensuring easy storage and handling. The reliable, cost-competitive IAS/IES series include an integrated controller chip resulting in a lower component count, providing an enhanced yield with cost savings.

Additional benefits such as better capacitive loading characteristics, integrated overtemperature and short circuit protection, higher efficiency at light load, and low no-load power consumption make these converters an ideal solution for isolating voltage rails in a distributed power supply architecture such as analog, digital, data, and relay circuits.
